We had a great New Years Eve this year. Louis was supposed to be working, and originally wasn't going to be back in Flagstaff until January 2. But thankfully he was able to get off work and he surprised me a few days before the New Year. It was a great surprise because I was feeling bad about us not being together over the holiday. We were invited to spend the evening at Liz and Wayne's home and we all had a great time. Most of the neighbors from my aunt Jackie and uncle Gene's neighborhood were there. Everyone brought an appetizer and dessert so there was lots of yummy food to eat, and we all made it to midnight...even the girls.
